Rachel Styer, photographer, asked Popsicle Riot to create an elegant and fun calling card for her photography business. There was a mention of unicorns and mermaids, so I came up with the Uni-maid, or if you wish, Merma-corn, design element and conversation piece. I chose to print the cards using letterpress with the design on two
plates, one as a slight blind hit for texture and the second a more contrasted hit for the important information. I also ran multiple colors for variety and used a substantial 600gsm Rising Museum Board with archival properties to mimic the qualities of her prints.
